The lower section of Te Awa Kairangi (Hutt River) or the Waiohine river (Wairarapa) makes the perfect trip for first-time rafters and is a great way to build up confidence before trying the Grade 3 Wilderness trip. Enjoy a relaxing scenic float with some astonishing scenery and exciting little rapids.

Our Grade 2 Scenic Rafting is perfect for getting kids into the outdoors and away from screens, all while having fun with their friends and/or family.

Raft your way down the mighty Te Awa Kairangi/Hutt River gorge. One of our excellent white water rafting guides will take good care of you on this epic adventure while entertaining you along the way with cheesy jokes. With flora and fauna along the way, this river adventure is busy and jam-packed full of rapids and is a must-do experience!

This trip is an epic way to bond with family and friends while rafting 10kms of grade 3 rapids. We stop halfway to enjoy light refreshments and warm up in the colder months with a hot drink.
