RAFT & ABSEIL, WAIOHINE DAY OUT
Spend the day in the astonishing Waiohine gorge, starting with a scenic rafting tour on the beautiful emerald green water of the wild Waiohine river, stopping at water falls for group photos and spending quality time with your pairs jumping off the rocks.
After the river experience we will provide a catered lunch for the team to enjoy while we prepare you for the 30 meter abseil. You and your team will be rappelling a 30 meter wall down to the river with our experienced guides giving thorough instruction and coaching you over the edge. This is an amazing activity for ages from 8 years and above, the perfect kids birthday adventure idea or a great way to test the confidence levels of adults.

Bikes and Boats Tour
The day begins meeting in Kaitoke to then be transported over to Cross creek in Featherston, Wairarapa. You are given electric powered mountain bikes to cycle your way over the Rimutaka incline rail trail back to Kaitoke to then jump onto the river and either raft the wilderness river section of Te Awa Kairangi / Hutt river gorge or the lower grade 2 section of the river. We provide a catered lunch to enjoy at the riverside, stop at the rock jumping spot and take amazing photos of you and your team throughout the tour.

Helicopter Access Wilderness River Tour, Tararua Forest, Waiarapa
The day begins with a meeting at Wellington Rafting headquarters in Upper Hutt or meeting at Amalgamated helicopter, 625 Chester Road, RD1, Carrington, Carterton for briefings of the day and to size the crew up with gear. We load all gear into the helicopter and enjoy a gorgeous scenic flight over the Tararua ranges into Totara flats riverside of the Waiohine river.
Boats are pumped and we then travel down 17 kilometers of beautiful scenic native wilderness river stopping for a catered lunch spread riverside, the river section is full of exciting grade 2+ rapids, spectacular cascading waterfalls, emerald, green water and amazing rock jumps. This is an adventure, one to remember and one to tick off a few things on the bucket list. We provide high quality photos of the tour and have you transported back to your vehicles at the end of the trip.

Hike In, Raft Out - Overnight Team Building Adventure in the Waiarapa
This epic team building hike in raft out overnight adventure is one to really test your team ability to work together.
We begin the day meeting at the Waiohine gorge road end where we start our 4–5-hour hike into Totara flats of the Waiohine river, Wairarapa. You will be accompanied on your walk with one of our knowledgeable and friendly staff members taking you through pristine native New Zealand forest sharing the interest of this amazing place. We break up the walk with a nice lunch stop next to the river then carry on to arrive at Totara flats hut where our trusty helicopter pilot will have dropped all the river equipment, food and sleeping gear for the overnight stay and the river journey the following day. You will be pampered with delicious food all prepared by our staff for you to sit back and take in the serenity of the Tararuas.
The following day breakfast is once again prepared by staff, boats are pumped and we then travel down 17 kilometers of beautiful scenic native wilderness river stopping for a catered lunch spread riverside, the river section is full of exciting grade 2+ rapids, spectacular cascading waterfalls, emerald, green water and amazing rock jumps. This is an adventure, one to remember and one to tick off a few things on the bucket list. We provide high quality photos of the tour and have you transported back to your vehicles at the end of the trip.

Ropes and Rivers Tour
Ropes and rivers tour, an adventure experience with two great activities in one exciting day.
The adventure begins with a thorough safety briefing including a demonstration on how to rappel /abseil a rope followed by a 20 minute walk along an old logging track into the Akatarawa forest where the first feature of the Little Akatarawa Canyon tour begins.
An exciting zipline into the Little Akatarawa canyon followed by four waterfall descents repelling/abseiling by rope into the heart of the canyon, we lower you through the first waterfall to get you comfortable in the environment then if you are confident and want to do an independent abseil our experienced team of guides are there for support to coach you through the activity making sure you are safe and having fun. Wading through a shallow creek and jumping from height into fresh pristine water (optional) is so much fun and the scenery is truly an experience to remember, the Little Akatarawa Canyon has got to be the greatest little hidden gem in the Wellington region being only a 40 minute drive from the CBD we are so lucky to have such a cool adventure on the doorstep of the capital city, Wellington.
The adventure continues once we exit the canyon to then jump onto the river in our 2 person inflatable kayaks / Duckies to enjoy a relaxing paddle down our local awa/river stopping at the jump spot for some mean bombs and a lovely catered lunch riverside.
